An Experience on My First Solo Trip
Hi guys. I'm an introvert who likes to be at my own company. Then last year I decided to travel solo. I've never done it before tho. I decided to take a short 3D 2N trip to Saigon. I booked the flights, hostel and tour beforehand.
Just as the trip gets nearer, I was anxious and excited. I went during the Christmas week and was expecting that the hostel would be full of people. But having luck to my side, on my first night there, I was on my own in the dorm room. The dorm room seems to fit 6 people. But I was the only one there. So I pretty much had the privacy.
Although to some people, they might want to make as many new friends as possible during the trip, I didn't really do that. I didn't speak much to people around me and it was okay for me.
Mostly I navigate myself across the city with google maps and everything else is a google-away. Saigon uses Grab -- an e-hailing service. So it's quite convenient to get around the city with. They have the option of getting on a bike or car. I choose the bike. Since it's cheaper and quicker. Didn't really have to talk to the driver either. We just show each other's booking screen, and gave a nod.
Overall it was a tranquil experience.
