Advice for changing plans mid- trip in Southeast Asia
I’m currently in Hanoi and was originally planning on staying in Vietnam for two weeks, taking the night train from here to Danang. It looks like the weather is going to be bad there for at least a week, though, which kind of squashes my plans to see Hoi An and some other beach towns. Fortunately, no plans are set in stone yet so I thought I’d take this as an opportunity to do something else, preferably by the beach. To be honest, I’d even be willing to cut my time in Vietnam short as I’m not opposed to flying to my next city/ destination. Does anybody have advice as to where some other good (relatively quiet) beach towns are in the region, or about making a quick destination change in general?
