9 day trip to Barcelona Itinerary
Hello wonderful people of r/solotravel!
I have booked a flight to Barcelona in March and am so excited to be doing my first solo trip! Not going to lie, I am a bit nervous/anxious about being alone but I got tired of waiting for people (family and friends) who couldn't travel for and a good deal popped up so I booked it! My trip is from 03/04 through 03/14 but with the time change and the first day being a bunch of flight time I will be there on the 5th. I was hoping to get some tips on what to do/places to visit while I am there as well as some feedback on whether a 1-2 day trip to Amsterdam (maybe Madrid would be better?) would be feasible/worth it or if it would cut into my Barcelona time while not offering much while in Amsterdam.
Day 1 - My flight arrives a little after 9 AM local time so after I check in to the hotel and get settled I was thinking of just walking around and getting to know the place. I will be staying in a hotel about 5 min away from the Arc De Triomf.
Day 2 - I was thinking I could do La Sagrada Familia (buying my ticket later this week so it is well in advance) in the morning and then do Park Guell.
Day 3 - Montujic and Barceloneta (Catalan Art Museum, Fundacio Joan Miro, and CaixaForum)
Day 4 -
Day 5 -
Day 6 - Going to watch a futbol match and then do some more exploring of the city
Day 7 -
Day 8 -
Day 9 -
Day 10 - Leave Barcelona at 10 AM
As you can see I don't really have much planned for half the time I would be there, I would really appreciate some locations that would be cool to check out while I am there!
Thanks for looking and stay awesome internet friends!
