[26F] 11 Days in Taiwan! Itinerary help?
Hi guys! So I’m planning out my trip to Taiwan. I’ve been reading through most of the previous threads and they have all been very helpful. I have crafted a possible itinerary and would really love your input. I’m open to doing anything but some major considerations are:
(1) I don’t have an international license so most scooter rental / car rental options are out
(2) I don’t plan on going to the beach (so no Kenting for me)
(3) I don’t know how to speak Taiwanese (is this going to be an issue?)
Here’s a rough draft of my itinerary:
Day 1: Taipei -> Hualien
Day 2: Taroko Gorge
Day 3: Free time in Hualien (maybe paraglide?)
Day 4: Hualien -> Kaohsiung (it says travel time is around 6hrs so I’m still not sure about this route)
Day 5: Kaohsiung
Day 6: Kaohsiung (half day) -> Chiayi
Day 7: Alishan
Day 8: Chiayi -> Taipei
Day 9: Jiufen / Shifen
Day 10: Taipei
Day 11: Taipei
Would really appreciate your help and input. Please feel free to suggest anything else that I might have missed. Thank you soooo much!
