TRAVEL ADVICE: Irish girl looking to travel to the US (Southern States)
Hi guys,
I am from Ireland and considering a trip to America maybe March 2019 but also it could be summer time. 2 weeks probably is the duration. Hopefully I get a small group (i.e 2 others) to come with me but there's a possibility it could be a solo trip too. If it is solo I want to be as safe as possible as a girl travelling around. Please correct me if i am wrong but I have heard that bus travel in the US can be dangerous.
Very random but over the last year I have become a little obsessed with American Country music. I would love to experience places in the US that give off that kind of vibe!
However, that is not the only thing of interest to me. I am just looking for some interesting places to see and have a good time, good food and good alcohol. Some states and cities I am considering are below. They are all main cities but I do like to go off the beaten track and explore smaller towns so anyone from or if you have visited smaller towns in these states please let me know :) THANK YOU!

- Mississippi (Jackson)
- Tennessee (Nashville and Memphis)
