Starting my life over, sooner than expected and wouldn’t mind some traveling advice please!
I’m going to be on the road until I run out of money or find a place I feel I may be able to make a life at. I’m actually applying for the peace corps today I was already +83% when I saved the app, I just wanted to figure some things out first. Anyway, before I do I was told to get out, so come New Years morning, my family may never see me again (gone before they wake) and honestly I should’ve left about a decade ago so don’t feel bad for me. I stayed to help but nobody remembers a single decent thing I’ve ever done around here lol.
Long story short if I can even say that, if I don’t get accepted to the peace corps and haven’t found a place to permanently stay in the meantime I’ll keep looking and would appreciate any money saving or basic safety traveling tips you’ve got. If I’m accepted I’d leave July 2019. I’m a grown ass man, 6’2” and let’s just say large so I (probably ignorantly) admit that’s a load off my mind. I’ll be driving my suv and camped out many a moon in it before but I’m wondering how much of my things I should take until I find somewhere to exist. I’m half worried it’ll get stolen, half realize weighing down the car will cost more gas and I know it’s my “family” but I don’t wish to ever see them again so, look I’m so far off point, my bad.
I’m just some guy from Vegas trying to make sense of what time i have left here. I appreciate any help I can get, thank you.
I’m willing to go nearly anywhere.
