Solo roadtrip from LA to NYC
I'm aware that this is a crazy idea and I may be a little naive to think that this could work out in my favor. I have never gone on a roadtrip before and this is just an idea I had out of desperation because I have no other options to get to NYC without spending more than I can afford. I'm going to be visiting family, so budgeting for when I actually get there is not a concern.
I plan on driving cross country, starting early in the morning and ending late at night to cover as much ground as possible. I've tried to map out where I would be at the end of each day and I'm going to be booking stays at a couple airbnbs in whichever state I end up in at the end of the day to get sleep before I hit the road again. If I'm calculating this correctly, this trip should take me about 3-4 days.
If you would advise against doing a trip like this, please do tell me and please give me reasons why. At this point, I'm looking for more reasons not to go than reasons to go if it means I could potentially avoid facing huge problems doing this. If you think it's a doable plan, please give me tips on how I can make this trip as smooth as possible and what other advice you can think to give to someone planning a trip like this.
