Russia for 6 nights. Any suggestions on what to see and do and eat?
Hi everyone, I am going to Russia in mid April 2019. I want to see how different life is there, not really interested in crowding myself into a ton of tourist sites, save for the “must see”. I was going to do 3 nights each in St. Petersburg and Moscow. What are some suggestions on what to see? How to get around, how to prepare? I am of course going by myself. I’ve been to 34 countries by myself so I’m not worried about being alone.. well maybe just a little bit because I’ve heard that tourism in Russia is really geared towards groups and it could be hard to get in anywhere. Also everyone gasps and is very worried for me when I tell them I’m going to Russia and they are worried about my safety. Also, any tips about travelling to and from Russia to London? Airline preference? And also between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Train? Plane? I am 28 lady from Toronto.
Thank you everyone for your help!
