I've been reading so many great things about so many great places but I feel my trip might be a little rushed for each site. My friend and I did a one month trip to Europe hitting 13 countries, but I was tired the entire time from so much travel. This will be my first solo trip, though I have a friend in shanghai who would like to join me for 2 weeks. Here are some of the locations I would love to visit:

JAPAN

-Tokyo -Kyoto -Nara

CHINA

-Beijing -Shanghai -Xi’an -Zhangjiajie -Guilin/Yangshuo -Hong Kong

VIETNAM

-Hanoi -Phong Nha -Ha long bay

LAOS

-Vang Vieng -Luang Prabang

THAILAND

-Bangkok -Chiang Mai -Krabi -Ao Nang -Railay -Koh Lanta -Koh Phangan

SINGAPORE

I guess a better framed question is which of these places will be more fun for me as a first time solo traveler? I would love to work/ volunteer as I think that would add some meaning to my trip. But solo-friendly hostels would also be amazing.
