Places in Europe to get lots of sun and some warmth... in February?
I've lived in the UK for *years* now but I still get really bad seasonal affective disorder, especially in the January/February months. The lack of sun really does me dirty, and vitamin D supplements just don't do the job.
I'm planning a trip for somewhere in February -- it doesn't necessarily need to be hot (though not freezing either!), just very, very sunny. Preferably away from a super urban/metropolitan city because I live in one now and think that definitely is part of why I get SAD.
I've looked at forecasts for a few cities but want to hear from people who have recommendations based off places they've been to/can speak to personally. Thanks!
