Help me, fellow solo-ers!

I was too busy this year to make any social plans for NYE—I just submitted my masters thesis! But now everyone is booked up and out of town. I figure I oughtta get out of town myself and celebrate solo. But I’m having trouble deciding where to go and what to do.

I live in Baltimore, and I think I want a road trip for a change (one of the reasons I’m struggling is that I usually travel internationally in the summer—brainstorming local wintertime activities is a new one). I have a car and can probably head out for 2-3 days. I rarely leave my city and would love to get more acquainted with the good country where I live. Any ideas for me? Thank you all :)
