Hey all,

So as the title states, I’m leaving for HCMC tomorrow and I have a hostel booked for three days. I have a bit of anxiety in general, maybe due to getting choked out by a taxi driver towards the end of my last trip, but it’s mostly about getting a bike. I rode an automatic through Cusco when I was in peru and it was so much fun to say the least. I have driven manual cars, but never a manual bike.

If anyone has advice on what kind of motorcycle I should buy for this trip it would be greatly appreciated. I’m thinking either the usual win or wave, and I guess my biggest concern is being busy figuring out the clutch while in that insane traffic.

Any other tips or suggestions about Vietnam would also be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone
