Enjoy your little solo travel moments when not solo traveling
Hey redditors, just a little rant here.
I've joined my family for a trip, mostly because I was a little guilty of not spending enough time with them. As I expected, it's much more stressful than traveling by myself, but I don't regret it, because I know they like my company.
Today we had planned - and already paid - a day train trip to some vineyards, something they like, but I don't. Yesterday I decided to give up on this side trip, and I'll meet them back at Airbnb later. The money was spent, non refundable, but at least now I gotta spend a day by myself splurging on this delicious IPA beer from a local brand while chitchatting with some random strangers.
So that's it. You can always spend some good solo time when not solo traveling.
Have a wonderful year.
