Berlin alone for a week - too long?

Hey guys, just seeking advice from anyone that is familiar with Berlin. I am a PhD student and would love to take a ~week off to relax, travel etc etc. Berlin looks like my cheapest option but I am wondering if one week is too long?

I’m into museums, sight seeing and am hoping to meet people to hang out with. I’m down to be at a bar most nights, maybe not out partying more than a few times.

I wouldn’t mind spending a day or two working from a cafe as I am able to work remotely for the forseeable future, but still not sure if one week will be too much?

Also - I like to be around people, don’t want to feel super lonely for the best part of a week, any hostel suggestions where I can still unwind and chill out?
