I did some preliminary research before booking and sources were saying Morocco is pretty safe and had recently been upgraded safety wise. After hearing about those two girls murdered by people supposedly associated with ISIS, I am actually feeling kind of afraid. It's mostly instigated by friends and family [who never solo travel] preaching their fears to me, and I feel like once I get there and get settled in I'll feel better.

What are your thoughts? Have you had similar experiences of news occurences and fear regarding your travel?
