Question about driving through Kansas.
I’m going to drive from Charlotte, NC to Denver, CO and I’m curious about how boring the drive across Kansas is (I’ve heard it’s mind-numbing). For some context, this is a trip I’m planning to take with my 8 year-old son in June. We’re going to try and drive 6 hours (or so) each day and camp at various campgrounds along the way (and back). I’ve driven all over the east coast and west coast—including Arizona, Utah, etc.—so I’ve been on some fairly boring stretches of road. That said, I’ve never driven through the heartland. Just curious about what to expect and open to any/all advice to keep my kid entertained. Haha
