Going from Fort Collins, CO to Portland, OR over spring break. Where do I go along the way?
My bf and I are planning on doing a spring break trip from where we live in Fort Collins to Portland. I'm thinking we can knock out the drive there in one day between the two of us, then we spend a bit of time there and slowly make our way home throughout the week. We're planning on doing lots of camping; he has a subaru and I have a thick mattress pad we plan to just throw in the back. So location based on people/where to stay is not a must! I would love to visit pretty nature spots as I am a photographer and absolutely love what the world has to offer us. what are some good spots between FoCo and Portland that you may know of? and do you have any advice or suggestions? This is my first time doing a road trip like this so please give me all the info you have that could be helpful!
