Two weeks in Western/Southwestern US - any suggestions?
So this will be my first proper road trip, my first attempt at a route has my buddy and I flying into Vegas (I'm told rental cars are super cheap out of Vegas) and hitting red rocks, Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, Zion, and Lake Mead . The route and destinations are flexible. I'm hoping to do a combination of hotels and camping if possible. Any recommendations of must sees or misses, side trips, or otherwise? We'd talked about flying into Denver as well. No real goal other than to see and explore. The whole western part of the country is a possibility. Thanks in advance!
