Tampa, FL to Portland, ME in April
I know this is some advanced planning, but looking for recommendations of things to do on a road trip from Tampa to Portland, ME in April.
We will have 2 young kids (4 and 1) with us. We enjoy a good waterfront, but also thinking of things to keep the kids entertained as well.
Rough idea for stops (not looking to drive much more than 6 hours per day): Night 1 - either in Savannah, GA or Charleston, SC (drove through Charleston before and was very impressed) Night 2 - Virginia Beach Night 3 - Philadelphia
Any thoughts on side trips to Luray Caverns as well as a stop in Hershey? Worth it in your opinions?
Time is not really an issue as we will have up to a week to complete the trip. So we can always add a day or two in certain areas if need be. Any recommendations for stops along the way? Would love to hear.
