First post here, so pardon any amateurism.

Spent some time in Greenville, SC with some friends with my 3 kids (aged between 5-10). We did a fast drive down from the DC area in order to get here.

We want to take a longer drive home and find a cool town in which to spend the afternoon/night before making the rest of the way home to DC. Some place with a cool park, creek walking, etc. Not too far off the main highway and bonus for tasty local food. Nothing too crazy, just somewhere we can grab a motel room and check out the local goings on.

This is prob a shot in the dark, but we just decided to stop a night on the way home and am not trying to figure out the best place that will be the most easy fun with kids.
