Vancouver to Toronto via The States in November?
Hello Redditors. Okay so I’ve had many people questioning my idea of a road trip. So me and my partner who are from overseas are planning on driving from Vancouver to Toronto at the start of November. The plan is to buy a budget van and take our time and make some stops and yeah, in no rush. Also its a one way trip, we are relocating to Toronto. However people are telling me I should B. Just rent a car as it’ll be cheaper than buying a budget van and B. That I shouldn’t do it at all at that time of year. I’ve decided to go through the states as I’ve heard it’s mostly a 2 lane road opposed to the single lane in Canada and I personally don’t wanna be hitting the rockies in winter. I also have a friend in Billings, Montana who I plan on visiting on the drive. Any advice would be great on this subject. TLDR; want advice on driving from the west to the east coast of Canada / USA in November. TIA
