Roadtrip Memories
Just wanted to give a shout out to an amazing book I picked up Friday and finished reading today -- "Don't Make Me Pull Over!" by Richard Ratay (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/dont-make-me-pull-over-richard-ratay/1127785198).
It's basically his life story about roadtrips in the 70s and 80s, but along the way you learn a ton of history of why things are the way they are -- plus, maybe get a few ideas for your own roadtrip! It was a very easy read.
Our group of 6 is heading out for our annual road trip this Saturday --- 10 days on the road, just exploring America (heading to Hot Springs, AR this year). It's always a fun time and we just make so many memories along the way. Last year we found the perfect 1950s/1960s playground pretty much preserved in time in a little small town in Nebraska. Right down to the "burn your ass" slide and "concussion" rocket ship that you climbed all over.
