Question about Canadian customs: moving from east to west coast USA and detouring up north
My girlfriend and I are moving back home to California after a year abroad and decided road tripping back would be the most economical and enjoyable way to go back west. Neither of us have spent much time in eastern Canada, so we decided to detour.
However, we're concerned that with all of our items we might have issue getting through customs. We'll probably have a Prius packed pretty tightly with stuff. What is the general protocol for what you can and can't bring into Canada as a visitor? How much time does it usually take to cross through Canadian customs? Does anyone have any experience with this type of crossing?
Thanks so much!
