I’m trying to plan out a road trip to San Diego from Seattle going down 101 to 1 when it becomes available. Coast the whole way. Whenever I try to GPS this with Google Maps, Apple Maps or a GPS like Garmin it only gives me fastest route plus a few alternatives. Non of the alternatives are my route and I tried combining multiple locations to force it down the coast line but then the numbers are incorrect for time/distance and other information.

Any suggestions on how to properly map out my route to get precise data?
