First time coming up on Saturday. Young and lost on where to go. Advice?
Unfortunately, I have a job that would cause more chaos to my life if I quit, so my first road trip will have to work around my schedule. I get finished Saturday at 10PM and plan to leave for wherever from where I work. I don't have to be back until Thursday at 6PM. It doesn't give me long, but I really need to escape for a few days.
Life has been upside-down for a long time, and I really want to do something for me. My family is toxic and nothing has been going right. I would love to see whatever brings happiness and joy to others. I know this world can be beautiful if I look hard enough.
I only have a few hundred dollars (maybe 300) I'm willing to spend, but if you have a worthwhile suggestion that costs a little more, I am all ears. Most of this money will probably go towards gas as my car is from 2000 and will need to fill up often.
As a young person traveling alone, I am seeking advice as where I should be parking to sleep (I assume Walmart parking lots and such are the best) and other basic things of that nature.
The big question: where do I go? I live in PA near the DE border. I am open to all suggestions, so please fire away. Do you know any great things within a few hundred miles (Virginia perhaps, maybe even further south)? What places bring a smile to your face?
I am vastly excited to see the world for myself and will gladly take pictures for everyone here.
