California, Nevada, Arizona Nationalparks Trip. Feasible?
Hey guys! So I will be going on a roadtrip with a couple of friends end of October. We have 14 days. I layed out this route and don't know if it might be too much? What do you guys reckon?
Day 1: Pick up RV in LA, drive to Cactus City and through Joshua Tree National Park to Joshua Tree.
Day 2: Drive from Joshua Tree to Barstow, down Route 66 (stop at Bagdad Café) to Kelso Dunes in the Mojave National Preserve. Camp somewhere around there.
Day 3: Drive from Kelso to Las Vegas via Red Rock Canyon. Stay in Las Vegas for the night.
Day 4: Drive via Hoover Dam to Grand Canyon South Rim and from there up to Page/Lake Powell and stay the night.
Day 5: Explore Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell Area, drive to Zion National Park.
Day 6: Drive from Zion all the way down to Shoshone, stay the night.
Day 7: Drive through the Death Valley to Panamint Springs.
Day 8: Drive via Mammoth Lakes up to Yosemite Creek.
Day 9: Explore Yosemite Valley.
Day 10: Drive to Big Sur via Monterey.
Day 11: Drive down Pacific Highway 1 to Santa Barbara.
Day 12: Drive back to LA.
Day 13+14: Stay in LA.
What do you think? Is it gonna be too rushed? Is there a place where we should definitely spend more time?
Thanks for your opinions!
