8 day trip out west and back! Looking for suggestions.
Hey guys...next summer I plan on taking an 8 day trip (Saturday to Saturday) with my wife and a friend. We will be leaving from Chicago heading out west and coming back through the southwest. I think I have done a pretty good job of passing by many of the key sight seeing locations. The major attraction for this trip is Moab, UT which is why we are spending more time there. I am okay with passing through these areas and stopping at some pull offs and overlooks, not really looking to do hiking and exploring. The driving will be divided up by the three of us. Let me know if I am missing anything good! Trying to keep driving around the 12hr a day mark max, aside from the first day.
P.S. - We really wanted to stop at Old Faithful but I couldn't figure out a good way to add it to the trip with out cramming and really being down to the wire. So I swapped it out for Yellowstone which seems like a better choice?
