Asian American 20s F working in Nepal until April of next year. Planning on traveling after for 1-2 months! Thoughts/recs for different asian countries?
For the more full wall of text: Hello! I am a younger 20s F who will be working in Nepal from August until around April. I am planning on traveling afterwards as I will be working in very rural Nepal, with no roads and little mobility. I wanted to ask for recommendations! I myself am very comfortable traveling, but I don't want to worry my mom and my sister. After some unfortunate happenings, it's just us and they want me to enjoy life, but worry a lot.
Was thinking of traveling for a month or two after work. Wondering what places you all would recommend? How much time did you spend in different countries/did you need less or more? I want to balance pushing boundaries and not worrying my mom too much. I am pretty open, but I'm already going to India to visit family and travel a bit. I want to see a lot of different cultures and people, but my MO, truthfully, is to stay in one country longer and explore the variety there!
Any stories, tips, hidden gems/not-worth-its, or thoughts are welcome!
