Thinking about flying into Dublin, staying there a night then taking the ferry to hollyhead and driving to London with a rental car. I would stay in London or maybe outside of London for 5 days then drive back to hollyhead, then spend the last couple of days in Dublin.

I'm curious how doable this sounds, Ive never been in England and never driven there, but I do a lot of road trips in the US. Is there a better way to see the country? Maybe train? I have to be in London for a wedding, so everything else can be moved around.
