Wrapping up eight weeks of solo travel as a type this. Couldn’t thank r/solotravel enough for the recommendations, packing lists, but most importantly: the advice to stop overthinking it and just f**kin go for it.

Day 1, I was paranoid that I forgot something. But that quickly goes away. Over the two months I’ve gotten stuff stolen, lost things, missed buses/trains (some of it my fault, some of it alcohol’s fault, some of it out of my control)...and the overall consensus from the sub was always “things will be just fine”

Couldn’t be more right. solo travel is wild, and couldn’t be more fun. Thanks for the inspiration r/solotravel and keep sending it.
