Getting over a language barrier/looking like a tourist

Hey all, I'm currently a few week into Korea on a two week trip. I've travelled "solo" before meaning without anyone I knew but they've either been to destinations I was more comfortable in (England, Germany) or have been on a tour where the guide spoke the local language.

I'm a pretty introverted person and I'm finding it difficult to convince myself to go into restaraunts or pubs that don't have any English on them as the only Korean I know is hello/thank you/nice to meet you/beer. I'm finding myself going to a western restaraunt for dinner, finding an Irish bar and then going back to the hotel for an early night after I've done the day's activities. Not that it's an issue but still...

I'm not having any trouble, I've navigated Seoul via public transport and managed to get trains/buses to other cities in Korea and small local buses to destinations I wanted to see with no trouble so far. I'm just really anxious about walking into a restaraunt or something where they don't speak English and I don't speak Korean and having an embarrassing experience.

How do you guys get over that fear of the language barrier or fear of looking like a tourist? Do you care about it? Do any other introverts have any advice that might help me man up a bit?
