Car rental question
I’ve been racking my brain over renting a car for a 17 day road trip. We’ll be doing about 7k miles. I could have sworn that when I was looking into it everything I was seeing from enterprise had unlimited miles but now all of a sudden I’ve noticed that the same vehicles I looked at previously now only have 1050 mi included and the rest is .25 cent per mile. Am I going crazy in thinking this change randomly? Would going back to the site randomly change things because I’m almost 100% positive that it was originally unlimited miles...
My next question is, through Work I can save almost $400 one rental but my unl mi issue comes into play here because I can’t rent from the Enterprise 5 mins from me because that standard suv isn’t unl while I can rent the same thing from a place an hour away and get unl. Has anyone had luck negotiating for unl mi before? I obviously prefer saving the $400 but I also don’t want to drive an extra hour away to get the vehicle. Anyone have luck with enterprise essentially price matching themselves at a specific location? I was planning on calling in the am and speaking with someone but just wanted to ask here and get an idea of what to expect.
Edit: This is what I’m referring to. Picture 1 was taken earlier in the day and picture 2 about 30 mins ago... yes I know different locations but still, even when using same the pricing is different and doesn’t include unlimited mi like it originally did.
