10 nights in Morocco (June)
Hey all!
I'll be spending roughly 10 nights in Morocco next week and wanted your opinions on my rough itinerary (and other recommendations are also helpful!). A mid-20s M Malaysian FYI. Generally enjoy nature/history/culture but open to try/explore new things. However, I will be fasting throughout the trip so my options might be limited.
Will be flying in and out from Fez.
Night 1 Fez (arrive in the morning)
Night 2 Chefchaouen
Night 3? Rabat/Casablanca/any city in between Chefchaouen and Marrakesh. I am not too sure if I should break the Chefchaouen-->Marrakesh journey into two legs.
Nights 4-5 Marrakesh
Night 6 Essaouira
Nights 7-9? Sahara camp/tour. Not too sure if fasting + desert + early June would be a great combination... Would love to hear your recommendations. Otherwise, I would stop by smaller cities on my way back north.
Night 10 Fez (flight leaves tomorrow afternoon).
I realize the C-->M & Sahara-->Fez journeys are probably the longest, but I think I should have time to waste considering I'll be traveling for ten nights. Personally, I don't think it's too rushed but I might miss some insights on cross-country traveling in Morocco!
Thank you in advance!
