Thinking of taking a solo trip to Honolulu. Never done it before.
Hello everyone, I’ve been really wanting to go to Hawaii for the longest time in my life. I was gonna go two years ago but decided to go to a Miami instead cuz that’s where my ex wanted to go and he had family there so I gave him and couldn’t make it then. Fast forward two year and I have saved some money to go on a trip. My budget to go to Hawaii is 2K comfortably; 2500 is still doable but i would be pushing my wallet.
Is that a decent, reasonable budget to have for Hawaii. I’ve heard Hawaii is super $$. However my main concert is a Traveling alone. I’ve never gone anywhere where I don’t know a single soul. I’m super nervous and feel super weird for not having someone to go with. I’ve read articles about how traveling solo is great for you and blah blah but I’m super shy and timid unless I’m drinking.
What do you guys think, anyone have any tips or recommendations. Also I’m looking to go this coming May , around the 17th and ideally I would stay there for a week. Also what’s better, Honolulu or Maui, should I add I’m Gay?
