Hi all! I'm here looking for some people who like to travel and have a decent amount of experience as a tourist to answer some questions about the topic for my dissertation. Any ages and nationalities are welcome.

It will be kind of like an online interview, where i PM you a list of 16 questions about the aspects of the tourist experience and how the rise of smartphones and the internet can play a variety of roles in effecting the tourist experience, whether that be good or bad.

So if you'd like to take part in this 'online interview', leave a comment saying you're interested. I will then send you a PM with the questions and you can answer however you like.

"this study is looking into the tourist experience, and more specifically the role that smartphones and the internet play in these experiences. It is looking into how the tourist experience is affected in many ways by smartphones and the internet as they have become a huge part of day to day life and travelling life over the years. i will ask a number of questions relating to your tourist experience and using smartphones and the internet whilst on a holiday (which includes all phases, which are planning a trip, partaking in a trip and even reflecting on a trip). The questions will touch upon what the word ‘experience’ relates to in terms of travel and tourism. The focus of the study is on apps and sites that are deemed most relevant to tourism and the tourist experience, these being social media, mapping apps, forums/user-generated content and travel related product and service sites/apps. The questions will relate back to these 4 types of apps/sites, and your answers do not need to be lengthy, as much as you wish to write!"
