Should have continued solo
Sorry if this doesn't belong in this sub, but I enjoy reading it and identify the best with this one over the other travel subs.
So I've done a fair few shorter solo trips solo and am used to it now. I invited someone close along for my next trip in a couple of weeks and they agreed. They are not an experienced traveller. Now they are freaking out and it is freaking me out. They won't commit to any basic plans at all, even to things that are a priority to them and not really to me. I should have just kept my travelling solo. I'm hoping we land in country and they settle, but it looks like it is stress central until then. Has anyone had to adjust to travelling not-solo and had to take the lead role? What did you do to calm your eager but nervous partner?
