Need help trimming my itinerary down
Im going to europe for 33 days in may/june. I plan on staying in hostels and taking the train from city to city (fly from London to dublin). I do enjoy night life/ going out but I don't want that to be all I do. I am trying keep the budget under $100 per day. Right now I have 11 cities on my list, and the general plan is to spend 2 full days in each city, with a day in between for travel and any last minute sightseeing. This will be my only opportunity to see Europe for the next 5 years so I'm trying to see as much as possible. However, I have seen a lot about how 2 days may not be enough time to really see what the cities have to offer. Here's my itinerary and top reason why I want to go there. I'm looking for help deciding which ones I should trim out, if any. I am flying into Stockholm and out of dublin, so those are non-negotiable.
Stockholm- want to visit the climbing gym here as I watch a YouTube channel that climbs here every day.
Copenhagen- no special need, sounds like a cool place
Berlin- want to see the Berlin wall/ experience war history
Slazburg- closest thing I'll get to east Europe. Have heard that it is a fun city.
Venice- architecture, museums, the iconic canals
Rome- classic rome sights. Not interested in Vatican city
Interlaken- want to hire a rock climbing guide, maybe bungee jump and hike
Paris- classic Paris things
Amsterdam- have family to meet up with, want to experience the flashy touristy hubs
London- classic London things. Been highly recommended by pretty much everyone
Dublin- have a friend to meet up with, pubs and history
Right now the highest on my skip-list are Copenhagen and Salzburg. What do you think? I am okay with moving quickly, not looking for the "you need a week in each place" replies please. Cheers!
