Hi there! I'll be visiting Scotland in May and I'm trying to come up with an itinerary. I'll be landing in Edinburgh on the evening of day 1 and flying out of Edinburgh the morning of day 11. Also I've rented a car for the duration of my trip. I thought I would spend 3 nights in Edinburgh initially. (oh dear now that I think about it I don't need the car until I leave Edinburgh do I?) I also know I want to visit the Isle of Skye (maybe 3 nights?) and Glencoe (a day trip?).

I love hiking. I'd also like to see some castles and perhaps stop off at a distillery. Aside from those 3 places would anyone have any suggestions to fill in the rest of the trip? Thank you!
