I’m thinking of doing the Salkantay hike. How difficult is the hike?
I’m thinking of doing the Salkantay hike in May and I’m not sure how much I should train. I’m really worried about being the slowest person in the group... I am kinda fit, I’ve been doing lots of bikram yoga, but I haven’t been doing too much cardio. Although I enjoy long distance hikes and the longest hike I’ve been on is 14 km.
Would I be able to find a slower group to hike with? Should I just give up the idea of hiking?
