First time traveler: India or Morocco?

After months of trying to narrow it down, I have finally came to India (New Delhi;rajasthan; Mumbai; Goa; Kerala) or Morocco.

I plan to spend a month in either of those countries, however since I've never travelled before I'd like some insight from anyone who may have been to either or both places, and which one they perhaps preferred or would recommend.

I aim to spend around £1k, including flights. I believe India is significantly cheaper in terms of hostels; travel and food, however I'm from the UK so flights to Morroco are much much cheaper.

Any advice or opinions given will be appreciated.
