First Solo Trip to South America
Hi guys! 25M planning my first solo trip to South America in September. I think I'm a little bit lost as to where to go and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'm flying from Ireland to Lima down to Bolivia ( Lima - Ica (Huacachina) - Cusco (Salkantay Trail) - Arequipa - Puno - Copacabana - La Paz - Uyuni) finishing the Uyuni Salt Flats after 24 days with the option of going into Chile which I didn't plan on doing originally. What I was going to do was go from Bolivia to Brazil but everything I've read makes the boarder crossing out to be a nightmare.
Here's my issue, I still want to go to Brazil to meet some friends but I also want to see some of Chile if I'm there. Would it be worth going from San Pedro de Atacama - Santiago (few days there with a visit to Valparaiso) and then flying straight to Sao Paulo, traveling up to Fortaleza after or working my way across Argentina and then into Brazil? I've looked at several options for going this way (cross at Igauzu or going through Uruguay). My budget is fairly flexible but logistically I'm a bit unsure
Any suggestions/advice you can think of would be fantastic!
