Beijing or Malaysia?
Currently in SE Asia and trying to add one of these to my trip. Dates are flexible, but should be within the next month or two.
Beijing would be through the 144 hour visa free transit.
Malaysia was recommended by other travelers, as it's not as touristy as Thailand, where I am now.
What is weather like in Beijing in the next month or two? I brought one pair of leggings and the rest I'm dressed for tropical climates in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Which is more expensive to get around in? Which is easier to navigate? I'm actually a little worried about Google being blocked in China.
I like art, culture, history and authenticity. What draws me to Beijing is the great wall and tieneman square and the different experience than in SE Asia since this is an opportunity I'd use flying back home.. To Malaysia, the street art in Kuala Lumpur and authenticity of the country not being taken over by tourists yet.
Can someone whose been to either or both help me decide?
