Advice on Australia road trip - time needed
Hey!
So, for this fall, me and my friends are currently in the planning phases of a vacation. We have about 2 weeks (plan is something like leave on the 6th of October and fly back on the 20th of October). We have recently started talking of a road trip along the Coast of Australia, start in Sydney and end up in Melbourne.
My concern is this; Last year, we did a US west coast road trip. We spent 2 weeks going from Seattle (flight to SF) and rented a car in SF, and drove down along the coast, then went inlands to Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. While it was fun, it was also a bit stressed and felt rushed. My concern is therefore that 2 weeks wont be long enough for the proposed trip in Australia.
For people who have done that trip, will we have time to actually stop and see things and spend some time in sydney and melbourne and places in between, or will it just feel rushed and stressed? will 2 weeks make it feel like we are just on the road all the time?
