23/F traveling to London - what's a good way to meet a local who's willing to show me around?
Hi all!
First time solo traveling, I've been to London when I was younger (with family) but I want to try it on my own! I can do museums and whatnot myself but I want to see the genuine lives of young adults in London, great pubs, night life, etc.
I'm going sometime in October and I want to stay at an Airbnb in the center of London. What's a good way to ask a local to hang out and show me around? I was thinking maybe things like tinder... but it will give off the "hey let's bang" kind of vibe (which... might be on the table but I don't want JUST that if you know what I mean lol). I also thought maybe meeting someone at a bar too but again, gives off too much of a hook up vibe.
Any ideas?
PS if any of you are londoners and want to hang, hit a girl up (;
