1st Trip: Philadelphia --> Yosemite, Looking for some Pointers
Well, the title is a fitting tl;dr. Never been on a long road trip (went from Killeen, TX to Philadelphia, PA 3x, but not for scenic/vacation reasons), but I've been wanting to explore out west for myself for the better part of 2 years now, but each time managing to find excuses or reasons not to. I've finally decided at the end of my semester, I am taking off for Yosemite ready or not.
I am not overly concerned with time, and I am willing to spend every dime I have for this trip (don't scold me, I know this seems silly), not that its much anyway, but my point being is this is very important to me. I am having trouble with the travel time in between. I don't want to rush through my drive, and I was hoping you awesome folks had either some good Do's and Don'ts, or some cannot miss things along the way.
Already considering (more like certainly) going to the Grand Canyon as well.
