Solo Travel to Nepal: Advice?
Hey guys!
I'm a 25M from the US solo traveling to Nepal for the first time this April. I have 10 days in Nepal and while my itinerary is loose, I generally plan to make a circuit from KTM to Bandipur to Pohkara, down to Lumbini, then to Chitwan National Park, and back to KTM. There's a possibility I might swap out going to Chitwan in favor of going on a short trek like Poon Hill or Mardi Himal in the Pokhara area instead. Aside from my first night in town, I plan to simply find hostels and accommodations as I go. Assuming I might want to spend a few days in some of those locations as I see fit, does this timeline seem reasonable? Any additional recommendations on where it might be easy to meet up with interesting travelers or locals? Are there any other places I'm overlooking? Any experiences with hostels in those areas would be appreciated too.
