Road trip around the MidWest
Have never been to any of the states before. Will be a family road trip with two kids (7 and 4). We're pretty versed in car rides, and have driven up and down the east coast multiple times. The kids are no strangers to long car rides.
Current Itinerary: (1 day in each city)
Cleveland, Ohio
Football Hall of Fame
Cuyahoga National Park
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Eating Lunch at Melt Bar & Grilled
Detroit, Michigan
Watching the Tigers play, and eating Coney Dogs for Lunch, Slows BBQ for Dinner.
Chicago, Illinois
Pizza delivery from Giordanos
360 Chicago
A walk through Grant, millennium, and Maggie Daley parks
Ginos East and Lou Malnatis Pizza
Gene and Judes Hot Dog
St. Louis, Missouri
Gateway Arch National Park
Lunch at Pappy's Smokehouse
St. Louis City Museum
Indianapolis, Indiana
The Childrens Museum of Indianapolis
Early Dinner at St. Elmos Steakhouse
Louisville, Kentucky
Louisville Slugger Museum
Lunch at The Brown Hotel
Mammoth Cave National Park
Nashville, Tennessee
I have Tennessee less planned, but we plan on seeing the Parthenon and the Country Hall of Fame and eating lunch at Hattie B's
Great Smoky Mtn National Park, Tennessee
Is there anything obvious I'm missing? Any must eats that I'm not including? We have 1 day in each city, so it's definitely a lot to do over a course of the week. Finding things to do between each of the cities is tough as well.
