Planning on visiting Europe on Easter Weekend.
Hi everyone!
I'm planning a trip to Europe for the Easter weekend. I know it's short, but I haven't had a vacation in a year, and I'm excited to just get-up-and-go somewhere. I currently live in the UK, so flights are pretty decent to anywhere in the EU. I'm just wondering which city would have the most to offer for a 3/4 day weekend. I'm a guy in my late 20's.
Length of stay: 3 nights (Friday to Monday)
Places I've been to before: I've traveled the whole Caribbean and most of the US. I moved to the UK two years ago and have done some sightseeing over here. I have a Shengen visa which I have a few months left on.
Interests: I'm not really going to party or for the nightlife. I'd like to do some sightseeing, maybe some old architecture or museums.
Budget: I'd like to keep it relatively cheap, but I'm not going to complain about a 10 euro pint if it means visiting a nice city.
I was considering Prague or Amsterdam as my first options, and I'm not too keen on France or Germany.
Does anyone have some favorite places they would recommend?
