Need advice for 6 week Asia trip in April

Hey, I wanted to take a solotrip to SEAsia in April and the beginning of May, but I heard it is HOT in some countries (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia), which I was initially planning on going to. I am ok with hot weather, but I don't think I would enjoy dealing with 95 degrees and humid everyday, so I've kind of ruled out doing any of these countries, I can always return another time with better weather.

I have around 6 weeks for this trip, and I am definitely doing Vietnam for around 3 weeks.

I just want to know if there are other destinations in SEA or even in Asia that are okay for a budget solo traveler looking to meet people (but I can spend more than an SEAsia budget if necessary) with more decent weather during this time.

I like nice views, casual hikes, cool beaches, some history, and the occasional (or more) party.
