Meeting new people in Oslo, Norway
Hey, guys. Trym here, 25 year old Norwegian guy.
The last couple of years I have done a lot of solo travelling in Europe. Travelling alone is perfect when you want to experience a new place, and for me it is a good way of forcing my self to get out there and talk to new people. I get sad pretty quickly if I don't. It is much easier to strike up a conversation with locals and I find that people are often more willing to help you when you are not a part of a group. Some of my best experiences have started with a simple "Hello, I am new around here...".
Right now I am in a full time job in Oslo, and don't really have the opportunity to travel as much as I want to. But I can still experience the best part about travelling, meeting new people, right here. So if some of you happens to visit Norway and would like to meet up with a stranger, let me know. Coffee, sightseeing, dinner, hiking, cross country skiing.. I am up for everything. Seek discomfort as the guys from Yes Theory says.
